Collections - Scott Petre
Scott has kindly sent me some images of his collection
A Green Pothead
A fabulously deep green glazed Bullers Pothead from 1939
The Army Pattern
An example of the relatively rare Army pattern in what appears to be excellent condition
A Denby(probably) Cordeaux
A standard Cordeau probably made by Denby and probably made for service in Ireland
A Large Pothead Side Knob
This rare large double groove Pothead comes complete with a single side knob. Image what it would look like scrubbed and buffed with black boot polish!
A Terminator / Pothead
These are usually seen strapped to the eaves of various building within a town and were believed to be used by Redifusion or 'Radio Relay' as part of an early urban radio network
Tapers!
This trio of taper line insulators look like they are made by 3 different manufacturers in three different sizes yet probably did the same job. They generally seemed to be associated with Military and Factory installations as part of the internal communications and power networks.
