Red Bullers 1948 Railway Insulator
This is a red Bullers power transmission insulator dated 1948 with a crisp impressed Bullers makers mark and date. It has a lovely shiny bright red glaze. There are no chips just a very fine hairline crack to the outer shed which is barely visible. There are a few very small white speckles due to weathering. The insulator displays very nicely indeed with its bright shiny glaze.

EARLY BELLEEK CERAMIC TELEPHONE POLE INSULATOR
This is a vintage telephone pole insulator made by Belleek in Fermanagh, Ireland. These were made to insulate the telephone wires from the poles. Belleek made these for the Irish National telephone company called the "P&T" (Posts and Telegraph). This insulator bears the impressed County emblem of Fermanagh which is an open hand and has P&T impressed above it. Belleek had the contract for this product for a number of years and preferred to use the County emblem rather than their usual factory mark. Measures 4" in length and 2 1/2" in diameter. Thats 10cms X 6.5cms. Guarenteed correct and in fine condition. This was never used and came from a box of long defunct stock.

This insulator marked L.M.S. and cast in the top is No1 1947. Height approx. 5", Diameter approx 3" Ceramic is undamaged. An excellant specimen for any collection.

2 glass insulators - one torquise - one red/yellow
Two glass insulators. One 3 3/4" tall, blue/green in colour and marked Canadian Pacific Ry. Co. The second one is completely different is shape and has "ears" with holes in them and measures the same height as the previous one bu this one is 4" wide at widest point. This is red and yellow in colour and is marked No. 2 COLOMBIA on one side and L.S.V. on the other side. No chips or cracks in either.

LANCASHIRE & YORKSHIRE RAILWAY "1904" INSULATOR
LYR Telegraph insulator. Marked LYR"04" on the top section in old style lettering, the 04 denotes the date of 1904. No cracks , though there is a slight chip from the very top section to the rear. Recovered many years ago from the Blackburn to Hellifield line.

"MR" White Fuller Langdon Corrugated insulator
Fuller Langdon style corrugated insulator as used by the Midland Railway. No markings on this example but still a fine piece. Slight soot stains from the years of passing Steam Trains. No cracks but one slight chip on the shoulder and one on the inner shed, but they are hardly noticeable. Recovered many years ago from the now disused Skipton - Colne line.

Fuller Langdon Corrugated Insulator
This is a cream corrugated insulator as used by the Midland Railway Company stamped Fuller Langdon Patent. It has three small chips on one side but the other side is perfect.The chips can be seen on the picture. There is also a fine hairline crack on the very bottom of the outer shed which is not visable when on display.

Buller's Pothead Insulator with Tall Lid
This is a Buller's 1965 GPO double groove pothead insulator complete with a very rare tall ceramic screw top lid. The tall lid is also dated 1965 and stamped GPO, please see photograph. It is shown next to another pothead insulator with a standard small sized lid for comparison. There are no cracks or chips on the insulator although the lid has a fine hairline crack, this can be just seen on the picture on the right of the lid.
