The details are reproduced here as they were on Ebay with some trimming, but including spelling mistakes!

G P O 1929 Black insulator very good condition
This is a GPO insulator intact made perhaps of Bakealite but I am not sure. It only has one small chip at the base of the internal flange .The threads are good. It is dated 1929 with a T G.P.O. and an arrow all embossed on the top (see photo). It must be pretty rare as I have never seen one before

VARLEY' S PATENT SALT GLAZED RAIL TELEGRAPH INSULATOR
On offer is an attractive old salt glaze railway telegraph insulator. The top is impressed '8 VARLEY'S PATENT'. Condition is very good: the metal connecting rod is still in place and there is no damage/cracks; just a bit of wear to the glaze on the indent. Altogether an excellent example. L & Y Ry. Taylor Tunnicliffe Telegraph Insulator 1909
A good example of a ceramic telegraph insulator from the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway and dated 1909 in an small serifed style of lettering. 5" tall. Clearly Marked L.Y.R 09, it is in good, lightly cleaned, ex lineside condition. but there is a flake off the side of the top groove. (old damage as it is sooted over). Clearly impressed on the top with the Taylor & Tunnicliffe mark. The cordeaux screw thread is clear and useable. Whilst similar in shape to the 1903 one also listed. This is in a softer English Type porcelain.

Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Telegraph Insulator 1903
A very good, and early example of a ceramic telegraph insulator from the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, dated 1903. 5" tall. Clearly Marked L.Y.R. 03 , it is in very good condition internally and externally, with no cracks or chips. The cordeaux thread is clear and useable. Made from the hard white ceramic which I think might be of European manufacture, being unlike the softer creamier ceramic typical of British manufacturers.

Lancs & Yorks Railway, Unusual Telegraph Insulator.
Another offering from my collection of Railway Insulators, A very nice example of an unusual shaped ceramic telegraph insulator from the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway. Made from a very white, hard paste porcelain,it carries no manufacturers mark. Unlike the more usual LYR pattern, this is undated. 5" tall. Lightly washed, as found, condition. Marked L.Y.R. , near the top. It is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. Cordeaux screw thread clear and undamaged.
