Triple shed Langdon Telegraph Insulator by Bullers.
An example of a scarce Triple Shed Langdon pattern Telegraph insulator. Used on a former Midland Railway Line. 5 1/2" high and 4" outside diameter. Made from a glazed cream porcelain, Clear Bullers mark to side. There are NO cracks, but there is some internal damage with a piece out of the inner shed, and and some chips out of the bottom edge. The gloss finish is fantastic...despite being buried for many years. The thread is clear and useable. Still stands level, and looks good on display.

oil bath insulator
cream porcelain oilbath insulator,the problem with this one is it is split down the middle with a few tiny flakes along the split, it has a original spindle and copper split pin but the rubber washer has been replaced with 2 cordeau washers, the nut is freed off the spindle,the bath part has no damage, this type was designed for a cemented spindle but has a screwed spindle which was discovered when i tried to unscrew it hence it being split, the spindle can be unscrewed as normal

Vintage Enamel G.R. Prosecution Sign. Telegraphs Rare
A very rare and interesting enamel sign for your collection all original. At the top is G and a crown plus R for King George. Reads " PERSONS THROWING STONES AT THE TELEGRAPHS WILL BE PROSECUTED" This is shaped to go on a telegraph pole I am lead to believe they were also on the Railway Stations Poles. Measures 7.75" x 6". It is metal with an enamel front, heavy about one eigth of an inch thick. Please look at the photos. This is all original from King George V reign 1910 - 1936. If I am wrong please let me know.

This is a cream number 8 Varley insulator pattern number EI 521 as manufactured by Bullers Limited. It is a one piece moulded insulator with the early style Bullers stamp on the top. The insulator has absolutely no cracks or chips just some smoke stains which if required could be removed.
