This treble shedded power insulator came from a cut down pole near Cleobury Mortimer in Worcestershire
It measures 6.3/4" high by 5.3/4" at its widest point and has an internal threaded hole deep inside the inner shed complete with a lead insert
The usual power insulator style Bullers logo is printed under the glaze on the very top slope with a date of 1958
Other variations noted at the time where a dark caramel coloured example, stamped P5065 and a very dark brown broken version with no identifying marks
These type of treble shedded insulators are usually used where the line pressure exceeds 20,000 volts
